What have you done in Willis?
True Texas Solar and Roofing, on FM 1097 West, has been an SEO client for about two years. When we started, their main searches sat on page five or six of Google, their Google profile was in the top five but not first, and they had no roofing content at all. We rebuilt the technical SEO, expanded the content, built authority backlinks and launched a roofing campaign from scratch. Within five to six months of that campaign, their core searches reached page one, their profile was consistently first in the map, and roofing calls went from zero to four or five a month.

What does a Willis business need from marketing?
Willis is growing faster than its size suggests. The city counted 6,431 people in the 2020 census, and the Willis ISD area grew 22.7% in five years, from 40,291 to 49,444 people between 2018 and 2023. Most of those people live outside the city limits, which is why a Willis business has to tell Google the whole area it serves.
Two roads shape business here. I-45 runs through the west side of town, and FM 1097 links Willis to the lake and on to Montgomery. A contractor on 1097 can work the lake homes and the new subdivisions in the same week, but only if Google knows the business serves both. That means a website with a page for the lake area, a Google profile with the right service area, and the patience to build both properly.

How long does SEO take to work?
Longer than an ad, and it lasts longer too. For the Willis solar and roofing company above, the roofing results came within five to six months of launching the campaign. If someone promises you number one in ninety days, that is a red flag.
