Contractor marketing and lead generation in Spring, TX
I am Kevin Hackett, based in Montgomery, north of Spring. I build websites, run SEO and run lead generation for Spring businesses, and I meet Spring clients in person. I also work remotely with businesses anywhere. Home-service contractors are my specialty, and every kind of business is welcome.

What have you done in Spring?
Aim-Tech Solutions, a residential remodeling and construction company on Sawdust Road, has worked with me for more than four years. My team and I built their website, and a second one for Precision Corporate Services, the commercial construction side of the same team, in the same office. I also run Aim-Tech's lead generation, which brings them about 20 leads a month. Taylor from Aim-Tech said it on video: "Our business would not be where it is today without Kevin."
Two more of my lead generation systems feed Spring contractors: one for an insulation company and one for a solar installer.
Spring is also where The Homeowners Show first went live. Our first live shows, released over the 2018 holidays, were recorded at Thistle Drafthouse in Spring, and later live events with The Contractors Network were recorded in Spring too. Spring guests have included Jim of JC's Leak Detection in our sixth episode, Justin O'Neil of Fair Claims Roofing in January 2019, Robert Green of Green Light Movers in April 2022, and Michael Andrade of MLA Health in February 2024.
What does a Spring business need from marketing?
Spring is not a city, and that changes how you get found. It is an unincorporated community, mostly in Harris County with a slice in southern Montgomery County, and the Census counted 62,559 people in the Spring census area alone in 2020. There is no city hall and no city limit, so Google decides where "Spring" starts and stops. A business here has to tell Google plainly which part of Spring it serves, on its website and its Google profile, or it gets lumped in with all of north Houston.
Spring also sits next to some very large neighbors. ExxonMobil's campus along I-45 became the company's headquarters in 2023, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise moved its headquarters to Springwoods Village in 2022. Big employers bring homebuyers, and homebuyers need remodelers, roofers, plumbers and movers. They also bring national competitors with national ad budgets.
For a local contractor, that is the case for owning your marketing instead of renting it. Ads stop when the spend stops. A website that ranks and a lead system that sends you exclusive jobs keep working. Most of my Spring clients are contractors for exactly that reason.
Ads are rented attention; I explain why on my About page.
I also work with businesses in The Woodlands and Conroe.

FAQs
My business is in the Harris County part of Spring. Do you still work with me?
Yes. I work in person across Spring, on both sides of the county line, and with remote clients anywhere in the United States.
How long do your clients usually stay?
Aim-Tech, the Spring remodeler above, has worked with me for more than four years and still does. I would rather keep a client for years than sign one for a contract they regret.
Do the leads go to anyone else?
No. The leads from a lead system go to one contractor, not to a list of competitors.
